5K (3.1 mile) run/walk

Course: nearly flat, out and back on Possum Hollow Road, run or walk.
Good course for walkers! Walkers must walk, not run.

ABOUT THE 5K

Chuck Lesher was one of the founders of the Chambersburg Road Runners Club, which for more than 40 years has provided opportunities for improving fitness in the valley.

The Chambersburg Road Runners Club is keeping this run low cost to encourage healthy running and walking in Central Pennsylvania. Go enjoy food and fun at the Fair after the run!

AWARDS

Top 3 Male and Female get medals.

Top 50 Age Graded finishers receive medals. This includes the top 3 male and female finishers. If your grade is 65%, you ran 65% as fast as the best in the world at your age and gender.

90+% = World Class

80+% = National Class

70+% = Regional Class

60+% = Local Class

This allows every runner to compete against each other. So a 13 year old girl can compare her grade to the overall winner and to her 40 year old dad. No need for masters categories or age groups.
